Regional elections

Last regional election

In the last regional election, which took place on 28–29 March 2010, Stefano Caldoro of The People of Freedom defeated by a comfortable margin Stefano De Luca of the Democratic Party and thus conquered one of the strongholds of the centre-left for the centre-right. The People of Freedom was the largest party with more than 30% of the vote.
